Ends was recorded by Iwan Morgan in Freshwater East, September 2011. It was mixed by Iwan and myself. l play piano and sing, and Megan Childs plays violin on four of the songs. All songs are original compositions, except Love Radiates Around which was written by Mark Johnson.
‘Green Cluster Facial Invasion’ by Short & Curlies (taken from the forthcoming album At The Dance) was played on Georgia Ruth’s Radio Cymru show on Thursday. It can be heard at 2 hours and 42 minutes in HERE
The next National Elf release will be the album ‘At The Dance’ by Short & Curlies. Short & Curlies consists of myself, Stephen Black (Sweet Baboo), Laura J Martin, Robin Edwards (R.Seiliog) with Megan Childs and Huw Evans (H.Hawkline). The album will be available on vinyl and download and released sometime in May. Watch this space kids!

In the last few weeks I’ve been taking photos and posting them up on Instagram in the name of National Elf (someone’s got to do it). A selection of the worst/best have been added to the Audio/Visual section.
A Summer Special album biography penned by the journalist and author Ben Thompson can be read in the Audio/Visual section accompanied by promotional photos taken by Kirsten McTernan.
I’ll be a releasing a new single Spin That Girl Around on the 28th May. It’s a re-recording of the Ends album track. It’ll be backed by the previously unreleased Just a Dream and available to download from this site with the usual donate option.
The National Elf Library is home of The National Elf record label, which is a record label run by me (Euros Childs).
You can download all the music posted on the site for free or donate something if you so wish. Physical releases are also available to purchase from this site, although many releases are download only.
The National Elf roster so far includes myself and Croydon based poet Graham Thompson. New acts will be signed to the label as time passes.
